Are you having a tough time reading and seeing close items? Presbyopia occurs when the flexible natural lens in our eye becomes more rigid. It is often referred to as “short arm disease” making you more dependent on reading glasses. We can create monovision for you if you are a good candidate. Monovision is the process of correcting your dominant eye for distance vision and your non-dominant eye for near vision. Monovision can be achieved with many procedures we perform such as LASIK, PRK, and cataract surgery. We ask that you try monovision with contact lenses prior to making the commitment with surgery. This can be done with your Optometrist or here in our clinic.
