Sumit A Sitole, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been published in numerous professional journals. Dr. Sitole earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He subsequently graduated from the Tufts University School of Medicine. After an internship at the University of Chicago, Dr. Sitole completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Upon the conclusion of his training in ophthalmology, he completed a two-year fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Krieger Eye Institute, Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, a fellowship approved by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He then chose to relocate to Colorado to practice medicine and enjoy everything the state has to offer.
Dr. Sitole specializes in a minimally invasive approach to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelid and face. Dr. Sitole takes a holistic approach to beauty and strongly believes that function should never be compromised by aesthetics.
When not treating patients, Dr. Sitole enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and two dogs. He is an avid hiker and has completed climbs in the Himalayas, the Andes, and Mount Kilimanjaro. His other interests include biking, fishing, snowboarding, and golf.
