Maleeka Bokhari is an optometrist with advanced training in ocular disease and passion for providing thoughtful, patient-centered eye care. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, she earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry.
Following optometry school, Dr. Bokhari completed a residency in ocular disease at Insight Vision Group, where she gained advanced experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye conditions. Her background in neuroscience and specialized residency training have shaped her comprehensive approach to eye care and her commitment to helping patients understand and actively participate in their eye health.
Dr. Bokhari values building meaningful relationships with her patients and believes in providing care that is both personalized and collaborative. She strives to ensure her patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment and long-term eye health.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bokhari enjoys exploring all that Colorado has to offer. She loves hiking—especially when the destination is a beautiful alpine lake—as well as discovering new restaurants and trying cuisines from around the world. At home, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Luigi.
